Paducah Boat, Sport & Travel Show
Due to change of venue ownership and renovation schedules, there will not be a 2009 Paducah Boat Show. Watch our site for news for 2010.
According to NewsTalk WKYX 94.3FM, the venue's new owner Bill Parsons told the city commission that renovations on the newly-acquired facility including JR's Executive Inn, Convention Center and Expo Center will begin the end of October, 2008.
Space Coast Hospitality Management Services, the new owners and management company of the Executive Inn, has contracted with A & K Construction, Inc., of Paducah, Kentucky, to renovate all of the hotel rooms and provide improved hotel services by April, 2009.
The remodeling will solve many of the problems that we had at the 2008 show - heat and lighting problems in the EXPO center, and the run-down conditions at the hotel. More renovations will continue after the 2009 show with the building of an entirely new entrance and other exterior modifications.
